Not everyone who shows up in your life is meant to stay. And not everyone who sparkles is the real thing.
Friendships, deeper relationship’s, neighbors, work relationships, business deals, etc…
Some people are just fool’s gold, shiny on the surface, but not built to last. They talk a good game. They mirror what you want to hear.
But when it matters most, they crumble.
Meanwhile, the real ones?
They don’t need to prove themselves.
They just fit, like a puzzle piece you didn’t even know you were missing. They believe in you without conditions. They never judge. They show up. They stay. They listen. They get you. They let you be who you are. You don’t try to change them or fix them.
You will feel it in your body when something about the connection is just right.
Here’s the thing:
Real connections don’t force, fake, or confuse. They don’t lie. They click. They speak the same unspoken language of authenticity and truth. They come into your life like: “I don’t need you to be perfect, I just see you.”
Fool’s gold may look like gold for a moment.
But it’ll always feel off. It makes you question your worth. It leaves you chasing. It asks you to shrink. It wants you to play small so they can shine. It is not authentic, but pretends to be.
Real gold?
It holds value even when it's not polished.
It knows its worth. It does not need to pretend to be something that it’s not. In its purest form, it’s valuable. It is confident in itself because it knows what it is.
Some people are just detours. Some are soul contracts. Some feel like lessons. Some are reminders for you to listen to your gut and trust your intuition.
But the right ones?
You won’t have to chase them. They’ll recognize you, just like you’ll recognize them. They’ll help you, believe in you, and show up as the piece that fits yours. And you’ll do the same in return.
